Graphic Tees
PerformanceWe got some notes from our first episode back and one that we heard over and over was that people seemed to love the parts where I was more animated, so we tied to include as much of that as possible. We wanted to make sure that the videos stayed engaging and people wanted to keep tuning in.

New ThumbnailsOne of the first suggestions made by Gino was that we needed to switch up the thumbnails. Our first one was fairly basic. It had me in front of our standard background. But he suggested that we add elements from our story. For this week we added one specific element from the episode into the thumbnail. On Tuesday it was the bird coming out of the plane and on Thursday it was one of the fighting robots.
Yesterday was our first episode of ION. It was a long-fought battle, but it was nice to see if finally go up. The ball is officially rolling, and I am looking forward to keep it going. How it WorkedI previously talked about how I wanted the schedule to work, so I wanted to touch on how it worked practically this week. With Torrey, there were no classes for me to work around, so that was a varying circumstance. My co-creator and I wrote the script on Wednesday night. We reviewed each other’s stories and made the necessary changes. We shot at 7:30am on Thursday morning. It took approximately 2 ½ hours. I believe we finished around 10:15am. From there, I took the work to my apartment and edited for 5 hours. I then created a simple thumbnail improving upon former designs. After title & description creation, I uploaded at 4:30pm. I am fairly proud of this first product that I’ve been working towards for about six months. Here is that video: |
